Entering 2023: What new features to watch out for?

Our tech team had a busy 2022 improving our connectivity! Up-to-date pricing and reduced revenue loss are the main focus.

We want to create seamless customer experiences, so we encourage the adoption of new features. If you have any questions, our team will be happy to answer them.

It is also important to mention that adopting these features will positively impact your progress in the 2024 Partner Program. In the program guide, you can find more information about this.

Pull Price (Price over API)

We released Pull Price mid-year 2021, and we have seen significant progress in its adoption throughout 2022. Feedback has been great around it; suppliers love that part of their work is now automated, and customers always have the most up-to-date prices, an overall win.

To refresh, Pull Price is an API feature that allows us (GetYourGuide) to pull pricing updates through the API. What used to be a manual task by the supplier is now possible through API. If you still need to adopt Pull Price, please do so.

Push Price (In testing)

Up-to-date prices are crucial for a seamless customer experience, so we went even further to ensure we get the most critical changes in pricing sooner. We begin testing in January  2023, and the rollout is expected soon after. More updates to come.

Product Deactivation Notification

Sometimes,  we deactivate products due to errors. Our partners and we want these errors fixed and the product back online as soon as possible. For this, we introduced a new feature: Product Deactivation Notification.

With Product Deactivation Notification, the supplier and the partner will immediately and periodically receive a notification through Webhook of a deactivation.

Reactivation endpoint

Activity Reactivation is our endpoint that Enables Connectivity Partners to reactivate themselves options that have gone offline.

Once the error is resolved, partners can use this new feature to quickly reactivate the product, saving time offline for suppliers, decreasing loss of revenue, and increasing the product’s visibility.
