What's New In 2022's Partner Program?

Our Connectivity Partner Program is back, bigger and better than ever! Here are some of the key changes from last year’s program.

A longer read period

Last year, we tracked partner performance over one month in August. After soliciting partner feedback, we’ve lengthened our read period to six months.

This will result in a truer reflection of a partner’s performance in their API Performance scoring, prevent an intense rush for our Connectivity Partners in the northern hemisphere high season, and promote seamless booking experiences for our customers.

Expanded benefits

A key purpose of our Partner Program is to reward partners for their commitment to technical excellence and collaboration with GetYourGuide.

This year, we’ve built on last year’s benefits to offer additional perks for our Premium and Advanced partners including priority email support, custom data reporting, and the opportunity to deliver product training to GetYourGuide teams.

Tracking Deactivations

In order to ensure that products online are available for customers to book at all times, we’ll deactivate a product if we can’t book it after receiving information over API that indicates that we should be able to do so.

This year, to reward suppliers that are keeping product online we will be tracking the number of products that get deactivated across the read period.

Including suppliers

For the first time, we want to incorporate the opinion of our mutual suppliers into the program. We want to help unconnected systems choose a connectivity partner that’s best for their needs, and gaining feedback from operators and attractions allows us to do that more thoroughly.

Pricing Over API

Excitingly, we’ll soon start consuming a supplier’s Pricing Over API from their connectivity partner. This will allow suppliers greater flexibility over tactical pricing initiatives and offer best price to customers. Connectivity Partners can earn points for their program score by implementing the beta version of this feature.
